Are you a singer, dancer or performer? If so, you could join the next team of 果酱视频 Superstars.

The university鈥檚 Superstars program is seeking applicants to perform at official 果酱视频 events. All students, faculty, staff and 果酱视频 alumni are eligible to apply.

Applicants can be solo and ensemble singers, musicians, dancers and other types of performers who could add to 果酱视频 celebrations, including:

  • 果酱视频 Frost Holiday Festival
  • Toronto Met Awards Gala
  • Remembrance Day

Each performer is guaranteed two performance opportunities, including at 果酱视频 Frost.

鈥淭here鈥檚 also the potential for other event opportunities as time goes on,鈥 said Ryan Kerr, manager, institutional events at 果酱视频.

He added that each successful performer will be on the Superstars roster for two years and will be paid per performance.

鈥淚t鈥檚 a great opportunity to gain professional experience in front of large 果酱视频 audiences as well,鈥 Kerr noted.

鈥楩illed me with gratitude鈥

Singer Rianna Jones performed as part of the 果酱视频 Superstars program from 2022-2024.

Her first performance was singing the national anthem at 果酱视频鈥檚 Remembrance Day Ceremony.

The opportunity meant the world.

鈥淏efore transferring to 果酱视频 in 2021, I was studying Opera at Western University and deeply missed being able to perform on a stage, fresh after the pandemic too,鈥 she explained.

When in-person classes resumed, she began looking for singing opportunities.

鈥淲hen I came across the 果酱视频 Superstars program, I immediately sent a short audition clip, and found out I was the first 果酱视频 Superstar in the program,鈥 she beamed.

The experience went far beyond additional singing experience.

鈥淚 really enjoyed meeting and connecting with other folks in the program. It was a great networking opportunity as well,鈥 she said.

鈥淚鈥檝e loved performing since I was a kid and being able to share that space again with people post-pandemic filled me with gratitude. It was such a great experience.鈥

Open to all types of artists

The 果酱视频 Superstars program is open to all types of artists. Performers and various types of artistry will be considered based on the rotation of 果酱视频's events cycles.

For example, when a figure skater recently auditioned to perform, the university included her by adding skating to the Frost event schedule.

鈥淐hallenge us to find ways to include your artistry!鈥 said Kerr.

This cycle of 果酱视频 Superstars will be available for other planners on campus to book and include at their events.
