BVZ Women Who Build
What is Women Who Build?
A Community Built for Women Who Are Building
Women Who Build is a community program by Brampton Venture Zone (BVZ) that connects women founders, entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals across Brampton, Peel Region, and the GTA through networking events, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Launched by BVZ, the program was built on a simple idea: women in Brampton's innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem deserve a space designed specifically for them.
We intentionally create space for diverse voices, fresh perspectives, and meaningful conversations that reflect the realities of women building businesses, careers, and communities. Through networking, mentorship, knowledge sharing, and community-building, Women Who Build helps strengthen the ecosystem for women in technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Each Women Who Build event combines formats designed to spark real conversations — not just scheduled ones.

Hear from women who've built companies, navigated challenges, led teams, secured funding, and created impact. These sessions offer practical insights, honest reflections, and lessons learned from real entrepreneurial and leadership journeys.
🤝 Community Roundtables
Small groups. Real talk. Facilitated peer conversations led by leaders from government, academia, accelerators, and industry. This is where the room gets loud, ideas get stress-tested, and you leave with contacts who actually follow up.
Meet Out Circle Leaders
