Canadian Print Scholarships provides financial support to students pursuing post-secondary education in graphic communications and related programs across Canada. Funded entirely by donations from companies, associations and individuals in the printing and graphic communications industry, the scholarships recognize academic achievement and help students prepare for rewarding careers in print, packaging, design, production, technology and other related fields. Canon Scholarship in Graphic Communications Project Management |
Canon Canada is the leading provider of consumer, business and medical digital imaging innovation. Canon invests in GCM at 果酱视频 and has hired many successful graduates from the program. The award will be given to the student who attains the highest GPA in GCM 375: Project Management for Graphic Communications (opens in new window) . | William Somerville Memorial Award for Excellence | 4th year GCM student | The William Somerville Memorial Award is presented to the GCM student who demonstrated excellence in electronic prepress technology with the highest GPA in their first three years of the program. Courses include: GCM 130: Design and Layout (opens in new window) , GCM 260: Digital Premedia Workflows (opens in new window) , GCM 360: Colour Management for Graphic Communications (opens in new window) , and GCM 362: Introduction to UX/UI Design (opens in new window) . |

| CCCA NextGen Corrugated Packaging Scholarship ($2,000) | An award created by the Canadian Corrugated and Containerboard Association in 2026 to recognize top performing third-year GCM students pursuing the Packaging Concentration. Preference will be given to those currently enrolled in GCM 808 (Outside the box: Package Prototyping), GCM 800 (Flexo for Creative Packaging), GCM 822 (Packaging and Distribution), GCM 824 (Digital Package Prototyping), or other concentration electives. | |

CJ is truly a one-stop solution with all their services under one roof and with the most dedicated craftspeople. CJ knows how important awards and scholarships are to foster great future employees. That is why CJ continues every year to support 果酱视频 and the GCM Awards. To apply to this award you must write a short statement (250 words) describing your community involvement at GCM, The Creative School and/or 果酱视频 (examples include involvement in clubs, volunteering with a committee or student group etc.). Students must show financial need and be enrolled in second year or higher and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.33. |

Awarded to a student with the best project in digital embellishment, as determined by a panel of 果酱视频 faculty and staff, coordinated by the School of Graphic Communications Management. PAC Global Awards of Resilience |
2nd year or higher GCM student |
Awarded to 5 students in the Graphic Communication Management program who show an interest in joining the Canadian Packaging Industry. Students must submit a written statement through AwardSpring addressing these two points: 1. Explain your interest and commitment to joining the Canadian packaging industry; and 2. Write about an obstacle you have had to overcome to pursue your education (e.g. working several jobs while in school). |
| PAC IOU Scholarship | Kellogg鈥檚 is to be awarded to a GCM student in packaging who identifies as being part of a marginalized group. Keeping with the PAC IOU purpose to "champion packaging design by everyone for everyone," and Kellogg's purpose "To create a seat at the table for everyone", PAC seeks to leave no one behind, and champions change for all abilities, ages, disabilities, learning styles, classes, genders, life experiences, neurodiversities, races/ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations, and any other difference. Applicants will need to provide a written statement on AwardSpring describing their unique approach to packaging innovation and design, focusing on inclusivity and universal design. | |
Ricoh Print Innovation Scholarship |
This award was created by Ricoh Canada Inc. and is open to students enrolled at the School of Graphic Communications Management (GCM). It recognizes an outstanding student who demonstrates an interest in the graphic communications industry, as well as exemplary leadership in their community. Applicants will need to upload a letter of reference from a Professor or instructor that details the applicant's ambition and demonstrated community leadership through AwardSpring. |

| SinaLite Awards of Excellence In Premedia |
3rd or 4th year GCM student |
SinaLite strives to empower the next generation of print industry leaders by helping students get started in premedia. This award is meant to encourage and support students who exhibit excellence in premedia and workflows, which SinaLite believes are the foundations of efficient print manufacturing. Students need to have a minimum CGPA of 2.67 and will need to submit a 250 word essay outlining how GCM 260: Digital Premedia Workflows (opens in new window) has helped you professionally and/or personally. And demonstrate an excellent quality for the assignment in the course. Please upload your assignment onto AwardSpring. |

| The Circular Economy for Flexible Packaging Award |
3rd or 4th year GCM student(s) | Tempo Flexible Packaging strives to empower students in industry and bring more awareness towards the sustainability aspects of flexible packaging. Tempo would like to support students鈥� ideas towards the future of a circular economy. Tempo believes this will be best done by fostering young minds to find key solutions. Awarded to a group or partnership of GCM students in GCM 746: Sustainability in Print and Packaging (opens in new window) who have effectively shown their knowledge through the interpretation of the Life Cycle Analysis software by using it to compare against flexible packaging. Students must demonstrate this through the completion of their Life Cycle Analysis project. Through AwardSpring, please submit a 250 word written statement outlining your interest in sustainability within the packaging industry that demonstrates a commitment to embedding sustainability, life-cycle thinking and circular flexible packaging values. |
| The Sandy Stephens Award for Campus Involvement | 2nd/3rd/4th year GCM students | An award that will encourage full-time undergraduate students enrolled in the School of Graphic Communications Management to participate more fully in university and campus life and minimize the need for a part-time job. Three awards are available, with one awarded to a student entering each of the second, third, and fourth years of the program. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to volunteer work, extracurricular activities, campus involvement and/or leadership skills. Examples include, but are not limited to involvement in campus clubs and athletics, student unions, clubs and extracurricular groups within the School of GCM, The Creative School and 果酱视频. Foundation of Flexographic Technical Association Scholarship - FFTA |
|
Since 1982, the Foundation of Flexographic Technical Association (FFTA) has been providing financial aid to students who demonstrate an interest in the fields of flexography and/or graphic communications. Recipients are full-time students currently enrolled in a 4-year college or university and majoring in a program with flexography as a course of study. |
Paperboard Packaging Alliance Scholarship |
The School must participate in the student design challenge and the student has to be in third or fourth year of the program and in good academic standing (GPA of 3.0 or higher). The student must demonstrate financial need and be pursuing a concentration in packaging. |

Paperboard Packaging Alliance Student Design competition |
Every year the paperboard packaging alliance holds a student design competition, which is paired with a scholarship (see above). |

Tag and Label Manufacturing Institute - TLMI |
Second or third year students who demonstrate interest in entering the tag and label industry and will attend a 4-year accredited college or university on a full-time basis during their third or fourth year are encouraged to apply. Min. CGPA = 3.0. |
