Everything You Need to Know 果酱视频 Your Grades Seminar Recording

飦 Please review the Significant Dates calendar for information about when grades and academic standings are released.

Your final grades and academic standing will be posted on MyServiceHub approximately two weeks after the official end of the term.

To view them, go to your Student Center on MyServiceHub and click on Grades/Standing under the Academics tab.

Your academic standing affects your ability to take courses in the upcoming semester. Therefore, it is critical that you check it.

Your grades are calculated using 罢惭鲍鈥檚 Undergraduate Grade Scale and your academic standing is determined by your Cumulative Grade Point average (CGPA). You need to achieve a Clear academic standing to graduate.

Grades and academic standings are governed by Policy 170(a): Undergraduate Course Grading, Academic Program Standing, and Eligibility to Graduate (opens in new window)

Cumulative GPA (CGPA) - Average of all the graded courses you have taken at 果酱视频 to date

Term GPA (TGPA) - Average of the graded courses taken in a single term

Course Repeats and your GPA

You may attempt the same course up to three times (i.e., enrol initially, repeat once, repeat twice = three enrolments).

When you repeat a course, the most recent grade will be used in calculating your GPA, even if the newer grade is lower. All attempts will be recorded on your transcript.

If you fail a Required course (for example, ACC 100), you must repeat it to satisfy your degree requirements. If you fail a Required course for the third time, you will be assigned an academic standing of Permanent Program Withdrawal (PPW).

If you fail an Open Elective/Liberal Studies course, you have two options:

  1. Repeat the same course, and the final grade achieved on the second attempt will be used in calculating your GPA, whether higher or lower.
  2. Take a different course from the same table (i.e: Open Elective, Liberal Studies, or Core Electives) and complete and submit a GPA Adjustment Request to exclude the failing grade from your GPA.
